FASEB Submits Letters to Appropriations Committees Regarding Animal Research and Scientific Infrastructure

On May 3, FASEB submitted comments to the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (LHHS), emphasizing the importance of robust investments in animal research and scientific infrastructure to ensure biomedical progress. 

The letters (House Letter; Senate Letter) specifically urge Appropriators to invest in large animal translational research, ensure availability and transportation of nonhuman primates, provide support for scientific infrastructure, including core facilities, and reduce administrative burden.
