FASEB Submits Comments to OSTP on U.S. Bioeconomy

On October 17, FASEB submitted comments to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) in response to a Request for Information seeking input on the U.S. Bioecononmy. The comments highlighted long-standing FASEB positions on core interest to its 29 member societies, including reducing duplicative or unnecessary regulatory oversight of research initiatives; ensuring a diverse research workforce prepared to utilize new technologies to address key scientific questions; and implementing strategies to establish a strong research infrastructure that maximizes the exchange of resources and data across the research community.
