FASEB Sends Letter to Congress on NIH Grants Freeze, Research Cuts

On February 19, FASEB sent a letter to House and Senate leadership and the leaders of the Appropriations Committees, conveying concerns over recent actions from the administration that have been incredibly detrimental to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) operations. The letter discussed the freeze in funding for research grants and a recent proposal to cap funding for administrative costs related to conducting research.
