FASEB Encourages Negotiations to Finish the FY 2020 Budget

On November 8, FASEB sent a letter to the House and Senate negotiations chairs to encourage them to finish the fiscal year (FY) 2020 budget as soon as possible. The letter also reiterates FASEB’s recommendation that the National Science Foundation (NSF) receive at least $9 billion in funding in order to bolster the critical work of this agency and help renew the federal government’s commitment to fundamental, discovery-based science.
