FASEB Comments on Proposed Updates to NSF PAPPG

On June 2, FASEB submitted comments to the National Science Foundation (NSF) expressing support for proposed updates to its Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) and the clear manner in which proposed changes are communicated to the agency’s stakeholders. Recognizing NSF’s ongoing efforts to fulfill the August 2022 White House Office of Science and Technology Policy memorandum on “Ensuring Free, Immediate, and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research,” FASEB encouraged broad engagement of the research community to clearly articulate the agency’s expectations for fulfilling its updated public access policy.
