Celebrating DNA Day 2025 with FASEB Publications
In recognition of National DNA Day 2025, The FASEB Journal and FASEB BioAdvances present a collection of articles highlighting recent advances in DNA research across biological and biomedical sciences. National DNA Day, observed each year on April 25, marks both the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003 and the discovery of the double helix in 1953—two milestones that continue to shape modern science. Led by the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), DNA Day is a global effort to foster discovery, collaboration, and innovation in genomics. Reflecting the scope and mission of FASEB's journals, this collection features high quality, peer reviewed studies spanning DNA methylation and epigenetics, inflammation and immune response, and cell death and apoptosis. We invite researchers to explore this selection and engage with the latest findings that are driving the future of genomic science.
*Note: Articles in this collection may be freely accessible, published under an open access license, or available only through subscription. If your institution provides access, you can read subscription-only articles in full. Otherwise, you can recommend the journal to your institution’s librarian.
