FASEB Applauds Passage of Additional Legislation Providing Funding for Coronavirus Research

FASEB issued a statement commending Congress for working in a bipartisan manner to pass a fourth COVID-related spending package that includes more than $940 million for the National Institutes of Health and $76 million for the National Science Foundation (NSF) to rapidly develop new diagnostic tests, vaccines and therapeutics, and expand NSF’s Rapid Response Research grant program to better understand the spread of COVID-19. FASEB also appreciates the ongoing efforts to allow science to determine the best path forward during the COVID-19 pandemic.
