Kat Selah

Kat Selah (they/them), PhD, just started their doctorate internship at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. While a doctoral student at OHSU, they studied attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, and transgender identity in various capacities, including helping to start an ADHD and autism assessment clinic for the multi-disciplinary Transgender Health Program at OHSU. Before their time at OHSU, they were a research coordinator at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and an independent research consultant for several large-scale international litigations.

Use of award: To cover childcare costs to attend the Meaningful Care conference for providers who work with LGBT2SQIA+ with a high focus on transgender patients to provide conscientious and affirming care to this population.
