Hannah Morton

Hannah Morton, PhD, is an incoming assistant professor at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in the Department of Psychiatry and TEACCH Autism Program. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Binghamton University and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University. Morton’s research focuses on the intersection of autism with ADHD and LGBTQ+ identities to understand social stigma and mental health outcomes for autistic adolescents and young adults.

Use of award: Childcare costs to secure protection needed to complete projects, publications, and prepare to transition to a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position at an R1 institution.
