Monday, February 3, 2025
Early-career scientists are a vital part of the biological and biomedical sciences community. To ensure this critical group's perspectives are represented at the highest levels of Federation leadership and to foster dialogue between current and future researchers, voting positions on FASEB's Board of Directors and Science Policy Committee (SPC) are now open to early-career scientists.

Eligibility
Individuals within seven years of their first independent faculty/research scientist position who are members in good standing of at least one participating FASEB full-member society are eligible for the Board of Directors position. The SPC positions are open to graduate students or postdoctoral researchers who meet the above criteria. International applicants are welcome to apply.

Term
Early-career representatives on FASEB’s Board of Directors and Science Policy Committee serve one two-year term, beginning July 1 of the year appointed and ending June 30 of the second year in service.

Applications
Applications will be accepted through March 24. Detailed information on eligibility and position responsibilities can be found on the application site.
