FASEB Journals and News: Ethics and Integrity
FASEB Journals is committed to the ethical publishing of scholarly research.
- The submission and peer review process leverages available tools including iThenticate™ on all submissions and image manipulation detection software on some submission to check for plagiarism and other issues.
- FASEB Journals follow Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines to promote the integrity of the scholarly publishing process and the workflows to address any concerns arising.
- FASEB Journals require authors to complete a conflict-of-interest statement that is then published alongside the article. As part of this effort, FASEB Journals require authors to disclose all funder sources. FASEB editors and reviewers confirm they do not have conflicts of interest prior to accepting an assigned manuscript for consideration.
- Animal research and human research guidelines are available for The FASEB Journal and FASEB BioAdvances.
