Science Policy and
Advocacy
Credible. Respected. Effective
FASEB serves as a collective voice for biological and biomedical researchers nationwide, collaborating closely with member societies on science policy and advocating on behalf of your vital scientific contributions.
For more than 100 years, the Federation has advanced science policy goals and sound practices. Today, our member societies continue to leverage FASEB’s long-standing relationships with federal agencies to ensure sustainable and predictable Congressional funding for scientific research.
Science Policy Priorities
Our member societies and their members set the priorities they want to see in science policy and regulations. That’s where we do our best work. We help member societies keep track of critical issues and work to ensure scientists and researchers can meet their federal policy objectives.
Advocacy
We are advocates, speaking exclusively on behalf of those in the biological and biomedical sciences. Let us show you how to add your voice. Use our tools to harness the power of FASEB’s credible, respected, and effective advocacy.
Attend FASEB's Advocacy Town Halls
We hold bi-weekly virtual Advocacy Town Halls to strengthen and expand our advocacy efforts. These meetings provide a platform for anyone interested in promoting science policy and supporting FASEB’s initiatives. They take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 12 to 1 pm ET and are open to everyone.
Each session includes:
- Capitol Hill Updates
- News on Science Policy
- Q&A Session
- Open Mic Segment
