FASEB Provides Feedback on Draft NIH Strategic Plan for Data Science

On March 15, FASEB submitted comments in response to a Request for Information seeking input on the updated National Institutes of Health (NIH) Strategic Plan for Data Science 2023–2028. FASEB’s comments focused on two goals within the updated plan – Goal 1, to Improve Capabilities to Sustain the NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing, and Goal 5, to Strengthen a Broad Community in Data Science. Comments highlighted the need for resources, including financial, to ensure uniform implementation and enforcement of the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy.
