About BioArt

Each day, scientific investigators produce thousands of images and videos as a part of their research; however, only a few are ever seen outside of the laboratory. Through the BioArt competition, FASEB aims to share the beauty and breadth of biological research with the public by celebrating the art of science. Contestants include investigators, contractors, or trainees with current or past research funding from a US federal agency and members of FASEB societies.

BioArt Exhibits

Select winning images from prior years have recently been displayed at the Palisades Neighborhood Library in Washington, DC, the CREATE Gallery in Charlottesville, VA, and at performances of Cellula across Minnesota. To learn about arranging a BioArt exhibit, email info@faseb.org.
